''Herdsmen attacks to be brought under control soon'' President Buhari

President Buhari has assured Nigerians that the rising attacks on communities by herdsmen will soon be brought under control by security forces deployed to the vulnerable areas across the country. President Buhari gave the assurance today when he received the Board of Directors of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
At the meeting, President Buhari said the unfortunate incident of attacks, which has resulted in loss of lives and properties, has already brought sorrow and hardship on many Nigerians, with the government deeply affected.
Nigeria has been on the spotlight for weeks now following the series of attacks carried out by herdsmen in Taraba, Adamawa, Kaduna, Benue and some other states.
