Speaking to NBS TV, the Manya crooner revealed that the level of discrimination is high and he refuses to be awarded for his work backstage like a lower class citizen. When asked about such award shows, he said: "That is why I don’t attend those shows, They always wanna look down on us, If you can’t show us to the world, then don’t nominate us, we are content with what we have, we are proud Africans."
